The Repair Tech 1 will perform repair, replace and/or service work of Company products in accordance with prescribed procedures.

You'll be DISRUPTIVE through these duties and responsibilities:
  • Read and comprehend repair order information and parts schematics.

  • Complete the information on the repair order form

  • Work involves locating replacement products in accordance with work instructions.

  • Make decisions in accordance to work instructions

  • Recognize and report operational irregularities and defective materials.

  • Work from parts sheets, specifications and work instructions.

  • Under supervision make recommendations as to warranty liability and any unusual repair problems.

  • Work is subject to in-process and final inspection.

  • Responsible for quality of work, safety and housekeeping in assigned area.

  • Be a Milwaukee Tool culture champion by handling tasks as assigned, including working on different processes and departments as needed.

The TOOLS you'll bring with you:
  • Requires an education equivalent to high school diploma or GED

  • Must have mechanical skills and diagnostic skills

  • High attention to detail

  • Basic computer and writing skills

Internal Qualifications
  • No final warnings

  • No more than 6 attendance points

  • Efficiency and Quality goal met for previous 3 months

  • Must be in current role for 6+ months

  • Must meet all job description requirements.

Physical and Weightlifting Demands:
  • Standing for long periods of time

  • Repetitive motion

  • Frequent bending, stooping, pushing and pulling of parts and containers
