Salary Range: The full pay range for this role is $120,800 - $201,300ย annually.ย  . We generally base our salary decisions on factors including but not limited to, relevant work and leadership experience, education, demonstrated performance, internal equity, and in some cases, geographic location.

Scope of Job:ย 

This position is responsible for: Effectively managing current Asset Optimization (AO) services agreements and relationships associated with internal and external customers & contracts; ensuring customer success and continuity of service Lead support efforts for internal project pertaining to execution and upkeep of AO service agreements Growing external contract base of current customer and develop new ones to meet growth targets

Responsibilities

Identifying, contacting, establishing, and growing relationships with Internal and external project developers, owners, financiers, support groups and investors to enable service contract execution Develop dossiers/business arguments for specific deals that balance long term and short term strategic and economic objectives to enable service contract execution Manage commercial responses associated with RFPs, bilateral, or internal development submissions to drive contract execution Lead negotiations with counter parties and manage all needed approval processes for contract execution.

Own long-term commercial customer relationship of all external customers; fully mapping and understanding client's organization, incentives, structure, relationships and expectations to ensure customer success and contract retention Surface customer and/or project issues relating to external work, escalating to the appropriate levels to ensure customer success and contract retention Capture, digest, and share strategic market insights and business intelligence to better our shared ability to support internal and external customer assets Provide timely and complete reporting on all relevant activities to ensure there is full transparency on the health and function of the business. Promote a positive image in the renewable energy industry through thought leadership & demand generation activities (public speaking, webinars, authoring articles, trade show participation, etc.). Keep abreast of the company's vision, mission, values and services, as well as the competitive landscape and be able to articulate the company's capabilities and service offerings effectively to team members and customers. Supervision of Others:0 direct reports

Working Conditions:Approximately 30%-50% travel. Travel includes visits to other EDFps locations, EDFpsย  development projects, meetings with EDFps customers and potential customers, organizational partners, and industry conferences and trade shows.

Fiscal Responsibilities:Budget responsibility in conjunction with the coordination and justification of external resources to support O&M Business Development efforts

Qualifications

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or other related field, advanced degree a plus.
  • Fluent in English, other languages (French, Spanish) a plus.
  • 3-5+ years direct B-to-B sales required, experience in the energy or industrial markets a plus.
  • Previous experience within the renewable energy (wind, solar) field a plus.
  • Demonstrated experience finding new business and converting it to projects/contracts for his/her employer.
  • Demonstrated experience selling services in a long sales cycle.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:

  • Bright, quick, articulate, excellent interpersonal skills, and able to adapt to different internal and external constituencies.
  • Strong presentation skills and ability to prepare and deliver formal presentations to large groups, online and in person.
  • Excellent listening and communication skills, both written and oral, including the ability to relate to customers across all project lifecycle phases.
  • Attention to detail, particularly while overseeing the written submissions for RFP's and RFQ's.
  • Strong negotiating and influencing skills, including ability to negotiate and write preliminary drafts of contracts.
  • Viewed as a team player who also possesses the independence of thought and opinion to provide candor and honesty when making key business decisions.
  • Passionate about business results, with a strong sense of accountability, metrics and ownership.
  • Experience with CRM programs.
  • Advanced Excel, Word, PowerPoint, other Office products and Adobe skills.
