Pay: $70,000 – $90,000 annually

Work Schedule: Hybrid schedule with onsite work Monday through Wednesday and optional remote work Thursday and Friday during standard business hours.

They are seeking an experienced Leave, ADA & Workers' Compensation Administrator to join their Benefits team and oversee leave and accommodation programs across a multi-state workforce.

Job Description:

This position is responsible for administering employee leave programs, workplace accommodations, and workers' compensation claims while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and provincial regulations. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple complex cases in a fast-paced environment while providing exceptional employee support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the full lifecycle of employee leave programs, including FMLA, ADA accommodations, workers' compensation, disability, military, personal, and state-specific leave programs.
  • Partner with third-party administrators to ensure timely and compliant leave administration.
  • Guide employees and leaders through the interactive accommodation process, including reviewing medical documentation and evaluating accommodation requests.
  • Maintain consistent communication with employees, managers, HR, payroll, and legal partners throughout the leave process.
  • Coordinate payroll-related leave items, benefit premium payments, COBRA administration, and applicable leave pay programs.
  • Manage workers' compensation claims from initial reporting through claim resolution while partnering with adjusters and internal stakeholders.
  • Maintain OSHA records, annual reporting requirements, and required workplace compliance postings.
  • Track leave and workers' compensation cases within HR systems while ensuring accurate documentation and reporting.
  • Analyze current processes and recommend improvements to increase efficiency and enhance the employee experience.
  • Assist with HR technology enhancements, system testing, audits, reporting, and reconciliation between HRIS and vendor platforms.
  • Stay informed on changing employment laws and ensure policies remain compliant across multiple jurisdictions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience administering employee leave programs.
  • Strong working knowledge of FMLA, ADA, workers' compensation, and multi-state leave regulations.
  • Experience utilizing an HRIS and working with leave management vendors.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple cases simultaneously.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to handle confidential employee matters professionally.
  • Proven ability to interpret policies, exercise sound judgment, and resolve complex employee situations.
  • Comfortable working in a collaborative, fast-moving environment with shifting priorities.
