Job description

Qualifications
- 20 or more years of software engineering experience, including at least five years of experience architecting systems, at least five years in a technical leadership or consulting role, and a minimum of two years managing teams of architects or technologists.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Demonstrated depth across multiple technology stacks, including backend distributed systems, mobile applications, and modern JavaScript/TypeScript web platforms.
- Hands-on experience with emergent AI coding practices using LLM-based coding tools to accelerate design and delivery workflows.
- Proven track record managing and mentoring architects and technologists, including performance management responsibilities.
- Strong consulting background with experience presenting complex technical strategies to executive and C-suite audiences.
- Deep understanding of build vs. buy concepts, with the ability to guide clients toward pragmatic technology decisions.
- Prior experience in native application architecture and deployment in a major cloud environment - Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Expertise with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing practices, and modern DevOps approaches.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to operate effectively at both strategic and tactical levels.

Certain states and localities require employers to post a reasonable estimate of salary range. A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $150,000 to $188,000 annually. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including shift, location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ.Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, thatarenot included in the base pay.
