Most USPS jobs involve physical tasks and in-person responsibilities.

What is the 7 hour rule for USPS?

The 7 hour rule for USPS refers to a policy where employees working in certain roles, such as mail carriers or clerks, are typically scheduled for shifts that do not exceed 7 hours without a break, ensuring compliance with labor regulations and maintaining productivity. You'll use USPS online systems and databases to look up information, resolve problems, and process requests. Collaboration often occurs with team leads or field staff to escalate complex cases or follow up on customer concerns. While the majority of your work is independent and computer-based, regular virtual team meetings and ongoing training sessions help keep you connected and informed.
