Job Duties and Responsibilities

The Training Supervisor will plan, assign, and coordinate the department’s day-to-day operations in support of Manufacturing & Distribution sites. This role serves as a liaison between training, internal customers, and other support departments to ensure associates have the knowledge and skills necessary to fulfill their responsibilities at EchoStar.

As a Training Supervisor, you will lead and develop a team of On-the-Job Trainers (OJTs) across one or more Manufacturing & Distribution sites. You will be responsible for the end-to-end training lifecycle—from conducting needs assessments and designing multimedia curricula to implementing multi-modal delivery strategies (instructor-led, e-learning, and remote). Your focus will be on driving performance, ensuring compliance with quality standards, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement aligned with Company objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Manage OJT performance, development, and daily coordination in high-volume repair and refurbishing environments
  • Performance Analytics: Establish measurable learning objectives and utilize data-driven reporting to track employee progress and business impact
  • Strategic Alignment: Act as a change advocate, ensuring training solutions support long-term business growth and operational excellence
    • Lead daily and weekly meetings with team members to reinforce key training initiatives and expectations
Skills, Experience and Requirements

Education and Experience:

  • 2+ years in training or operations, with at least 1 year in a leadership/coaching role within a fast-paced Manufacturing or Distribution setting
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent professional experience
  • Minimum 2 years of related experience, including 1+ years in training, coaching, or leadership roles
  • Experience in Manufacturing, Distribution, or similar high-performance environments is highly desirable

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in instructional design and Google Suite for advanced data reporting and documentation
  • Mobility: Ability to travel up to 50% to provide multi-site support and manage remote teams effectively
  • Core Competencies: Strong analytical skills, exceptional interpersonal communication, and the ability to prioritize multiple complex projects under tight deadlines
