Help
  • Ensuring the coordination and functionality of infrastructure elements, including, buildings, grounds, and space.
  • Directing, overseeing, and implementing policy, procedure, budgeting, management, and operations for NIEHS programs.
  • Providing leadership to a staff of professionals, providing a variety of services including developing and implementing NIEHS facility and space management program.
  • Oversees the day - to - day administrative and managerial operations of the Space and Facilities and Liaison team.
  • Serving as key analyst and advisor for the utilization and acquisition of all space occupied by NIEHS.

Qualifications
You qualify for this Supervisory Program Specialist, at the GS-14 level, you must have (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS- 13 level in the Federal Service obtained in either the private or public sector, performing the following types of tasks: 1) Analyzing facility, space utilization, or infrastructure support requirements and developing recommendations to improve space allocation, operational efficiency, and long-range planning; 2) Coordinating facility, space management, or related administrative support activities with managers, technical staff, engineers, service providers, or other organizational stakeholders; 3) Contributing to the development, interpretation, or implementation of policies, procedures, plans, or guidance related to facilities, space management, resource utilization, or organizational support services; 4) Leading projects, work groups, or staff activities by setting priorities, monitoring progress, resolving issues, and ensuring work products meet program objectives, schedules, and applicable requirements.
