About the Role:

Baird's Private Wealth Management (PWM) Technology Best Practices team is seeking a Technology Solutions Consultant to serve as a trusted technology partner to Financial Advisor teams across Baird's Midwest Region.

In this role, you'll work directly with advisors, support staff, and branch leadership to help teams leverage Baird's technology effectively. Consulting teams on utilizing technology and best practices to create capacity, support growth, and improve client experience.

Our role will involve supporting a region of either:

  • 28 branches in our Midwest Region: WI, IL, IN, MN, MO, SD
  • 20 branches in our Western Region: WA, CA, CO, AZ, OR UT, AK

Flexible travel schedule based around business needs. Open to considering internal candidates outside the posted location, provided they can reasonably and regularly travel to offices in their assigned region.

The Impact You'll Make:

  • Be a subject matter expert on PWM technology platforms used by advisor teams
  • Deliver consultative, indepth coaching to advisors and their support staff (remote and inperson)
  • Translate business and growth objectives into practical technology solutions
  • Support onboarding, ongoing coaching/training, and new technology rollouts
  • Partner with branch leadership and internal partners (Wealth Center) to promote effective technology adoption
  • Support recruiting efforts by showcasing Baird's extensive integrated technology capabilities
  • Provide direct impact on how advisor teams use technology in their practice through a unique blend of technology, consulting, and relationship management

What You'll Bring to Baird:

  • Bachelor's degree and 3-5 years of financial services experience
  • Ability to obtain SIE, Series 7, and 66 licenses within the first 12 months (if not already held)
  • Prior client-facing financial services experience preferred
  • Comfort in a consultative, relationshipdriven role with the ability to drive technology awareness and adoption through meetings and presentations
  • Strong communication, presentation, and customerservice skills
  • High visibility and collaboration across Private Wealth Management
  • A unique blend of technology, consulting, and relationship management

Travel required; flexible schedule based on business needs

  • Willingness to travel regularly to support 28 branch locations in our Midwest Region (WI, IL, IN, MN, MO, SD) or 20 branch locations in our Western Region (WA, CA, CO, AZ, OR UT, AK)
