The Opportunity

Reporting to the Enterprise Talent Strategy Partner & Team Lead this role designs, develops, and executes best in class practices for specific parts of the business, that will create a robust and diverse pipeline of leaders for our most critical leadership roles. This includes consistency in how we assess, identify and develop those we see as having the greatest potential to rise to a senior leadership level.

  • In this role you will leverage knowledge of Roche, strong talent expertise and use of data and insights to ensure our greatest success in developing healthy leadership pipelines.

  • In this role you will ensure tight collaboration between Executive Recruiting, People & Organizational Growth (P&OG), People Insights & Technology (PI&T), IWS Partner and Business Partners when it comes to addressing senior leadership needs today and in the future.

  • You have very high standards, a focus on qualitative and quantitative measures to ensure success and will reinforce compliance in how the team works (tools and processes).

Who You Are

You have a proven track record in the domain of Talent Strategy/ Talent Management or similar. You hold a high bar when it comes to expectations, measuring and differentiating performance. You also bring:

  • 8+ years of relevant global experience and background in talent management, talent consulting, business partnering, or pipeline development within the pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare sector.

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.

  • Strong understanding of the pharma industry, trends and challenges.

  • Strong business acumen with the ability to translate business needs into effective talent strategies.

  • Proven success in developing and implementing impactful talent strategies.

  • Excellent skills in collaboration and partnership, communication, and fostering strong relationships across various functions.

  • Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to leverage data for informed decision-making.

  • Experience in forming work product teams to deliver specific outcomes in service of the senior talent pipeline strategies.

  • Strongly preferred: R&D expertise and understanding of research and development functions and priorities

This position is on site in South San Francisco and a remote option is not available.

Relocation benefits are not available for this position.

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of California is $161,000 to $299,000. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance. This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
