MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT

As a EDW Administrator , the work you'll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of our CNIC N6 IT Support team which provides system administration and development/maintenance support of Commander, Navy Installation Command (CNIC).

  • The EDW Administrator provides daily operational support for CNIC's Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW), ETL processes, and reporting platforms. This role ensures platform stability, timely data refreshes, successful deployments, and effective troubleshooting of Tier II/III issues impacting data or system availability. The EDW Administrator also supports platform upgrades, rollover activities, and CNIC modernization efforts.

  • Perform daily server checks and ETL job checks to confirm successful execution.

  • Execute routine and adhoc patching of EDW servers and components.

  • Perform ONV password resets and user support tasks.

  • Execute monthly data refreshes for Tableau reports.

  • Support Facts & Figures and CNO 5x8 reporting enhancements.

  • Support QA/PROD deployments across EDW environments.

  • Troubleshoot Tier II/III issues affecting platform or job availability.

  • Provide support for adhoc requests from EIM teams.

  • Coordinate with SDP through IssueTrak tickets for operations and incident resolution.

  • Support G2 Platform efforts including server upgrades, rollover projects, SPO migration, and JBAB/Saratoga realignment.

  • Maintain operational documentation, runbooks, and SOPs.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED

Bring your troubleshooting expertise along with a drive for innovation to GDIT. Our EDW Administrator must have:

  • Security Clearance Level: Active Top Secret clearance.

  • Required Experience:

  • 6-8+ years of experience supporting enterprise systems, data platforms, or EDW operations

  • ETL job monitoring and troubleshooting

  • Server patching and maintenance

  • Deployment support (QA/PROD)

  • Tier II/III troubleshooting

  • Ticketing tools (IssueTrak, ServiceNow, etc.)

  • Data refresh processes (e.g., Tableau)

  • Required Certifications: DoD 8570 IAT II compliant - Security+ CE

  • Education: BS Degree in Computer Science or IT discipline.

  • Location: Remote

  • US Citizenship required

The likely salary range for this position is $97,968 - $132,250. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
