Tableau Server Administrator / Erwin Administrator

Job Description:Seeking a highly specialized Tableau Server Administrator / Erwin Administrator to support enterprise business intelligence and data modeling environments through administration, maintenance, upgrades, and operational support. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Tableau Server Administration, Tableau Desktop, Tableau Prep, and Erwin Data Modeling tools including Mart Portal and ER360. This role requires hands-on experience managing Tableau server environments, dashboard publishing, platform uptime, data refresh schedules, content distribution, user access management, and vendor support escalations. The candidate will also support Erwin licensing, onboarding/offboarding, server maintenance, and upgrades while ensuring compliance, documentation, and operational continuity within secure enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer Tableau Server environments and maintain platform availability and operational performance
  • Manage Tableau Server upgrades, configurations, permissions, user onboarding, offboarding, and content distribution
  • Monitor platform uptime and coordinate vendor escalations through Tableau support channels
  • Manage data refresh schedules and interact with multiple enterprise data sources
  • Create, publish, and manage Tableau dashboards within Development, Test, and Production environments
  • Develop predictive and prescriptive dashboards and reports based on business requirements
  • Follow organizational style guides and accessibility standards including Section 508 compliance
  • Manage Erwin Data Modeler, Mart Portal, and ER360 licenses, onboarding, and access administration
  • Maintain Mart Portal and ER360 server environments and perform upgrades as required
  • Support troubleshooting, issue resolution, and operational maintenance activities
  • Create robust design and deployment documentation for new projects and implementations
  • Process and manage ServiceHub tickets while adhering to SLA standards and procedures
  • Provide weekly project status reports, updates, and stakeholder communication


Additional Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with stakeholders and platform users to support reporting and platform needs
  • Support onboarding and training material distribution for Tableau and Erwin users
  • Ensure server reliability, availability, and operational consistency
  • Participate in enterprise BI platform improvements and maintenance efforts
  • Maintain accurate tracking of Erwin license utilization and seat allocation
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure service delivery expectations are met
