Key Responsibilities
  • Provide consistent weekly supervision for practicum students, focusing on their clinical development as they work towards their licensure.
  • Deliver psychotherapy services tailored to the individual needs of clients, facilitating healing and self-discovery across various modalities.
  • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams and community resources to provide holistic care that addresses the complexities of mental health.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans that reflect the clientsโ€™ goals and needs, ensuring that progress is monitored and adapted as necessary.
  • Maintain detailed, accurate records of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes to comply with licensing and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s Degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Must possess a current and active state license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marital and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker-R (LCSW-R).
  • Professional liability insurance coverage is required.
  • A minimum of two years of relevant post-graduate experience in a clinical setting is necessary.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in supervising and mentoring graduate-level students or interns in clinical settings is advantageous.
