  • Conducting comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mental health status and identify their specific needs and challenges.
  • Developing individualized treatment plans grounded in evidence-based practices that prioritize the unique requirements of each student.
  • Delivering clinical services such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) tailored to the needs of children and adolescents.
  • Collaborating with school staff and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and support both students and their families effectively.
  • Maintaining meticulous and secure clinical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and best practice standards.
  • Participating in ongoing professional development and regular case consultations to continuously enhance the quality of care provided.
  • Educating clients and their families about mental health problems, treatment options, and community resources available to them.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will focus primarily on school-aged children and adolescents, addressing a wide array of mental health issues including anxiety, depression, behavioral problems, and trauma. You will have the opportunity to implement therapeutic interventions that not only aim to treat individual concerns but also to promote a positive school environment and enhance overall student wellness.

Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
  • A valid license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in New York State.
  • A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in providing psychotherapy services, preferably within a school or child/adolescent setting.
  • Strong proficiency in solution-focused therapy and other evidence-based interventions.
  • Exceptional communication skills and a capacity for building rapport with students and families.
  • A demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working with school-age populations, particularly in a remote or telehealth setting.
  • Familiarity with school-based behavioral health initiatives and community resources.
  • Knowledge of group therapy methods and skills to facilitate student support groups.
Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience. At Gotham Enterprises, we are committed to your well-being and career development, which includes:

  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance.
  • Life and long-term disability insurance.
  • Malpractice insurance coverage and employee assistance programs for mental health support.
  • Minimum paperwork to maximize your time with clients.
  • A steady referral stream to ensure a full caseload and fulfilling experience.
  • Opportunities for career advancement and professional development to foster your growth within the organization.
Career Growth Opportunities

As part of our commitment to fostering the professional development of our staff, Gotham Enterprises offers ongoing training and opportunities for advancement. You will have the freedom to pursue areas of specialization within mental health, attend workshops, and participate in leadership initiatives that align with your career goals.
