• Deliver high-quality counseling, psychotherapy, case management, and treatment services tailored to the needs of individual clients, couples, and families.
• Develop detailed, personalized treatment plans through collaborative discussions with clients, ensuring achievable and measurable therapeutic goals are established.
• Act as a strong advocate for clients by connecting them with essential resources such as financial aid, housing support, and other social services, ensuring their comprehensive well-being.
• Provide immediate crisis intervention strategies for clients facing acute mental health issues, such as suicidal ideation, substance abuse crises, or severe trauma responses, ensuring their safety and offering supportive measures.
• Engage in community educational initiatives to promote mental health awareness, reduce stigma, and provide resources to the public in Smyrna and surrounding areas.
• Maintain precise and up-to-date case records, treatment plans, and progress notes, adhering to HIPAA regulations and ethical standards of practice.
• Engage in ongoing mentorship and professional development opportunities to enhance both clinical skills and personal efficacy in practice.

You will primarily work with a diverse range of clients from various socio-economic backgrounds, including those facing issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, and various mental health concerns. Your role as a clinical social worker will be vital in assisting these individuals in navigating their emotions and circumstances toward healthier outcomes.

• Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program with a strong foundation in clinical practice.
• Valid Georgia license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), with the ability to practice independently.
• A compassionate, empathetic approach to client care with awareness of cultural relevancy and the needs of a diverse client base.
• Demonstrated experience in providing therapy to individuals, couples, and families, showcasing a suite of therapeutic skills.

• At least two years of direct clinical experience working in a social work or mental health setting.
