Position Overview

Embrace Psychology is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team in Smyrna, Georgia. This full-time remote position offers the flexibility to provide high-quality therapy to individuals, couples, and families who are seeking support and guidance in managing life’s challenges. The ideal candidate will actively participate in crafting therapeutic strategies, assessing client needs, and delivering interventions that promote emotional healing and resilience.

Work Environment

The role is remote, providing you with the freedom to conduct sessions in a comfortable environment while maintaining a structured work schedule of Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM. Our digital platforms allow for seamless communication and collaboration with colleagues and clients alike, ensuring that you are well-supported in your role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality counseling and psychotherapy to clients, utilizing evidence-based approaches and tailored interventions to support individual progress.
  • Collaborate with clients in developing personalized treatment plans that incorporate measurable goals and involve regular assessment of their progress.
  • Advocate for clients by connecting them with essential resources, including financial aid, housing assistance, and additional social services that facilitate their overall well-being.
  • Implement crisis intervention strategies for clients facing acute mental health issues, such as suicidal ideation, addiction crises, or severe emotional distress, ensuring timely and effective support.
  • Engage in community outreach and educational initiatives to raise mental health awareness and advocate for the reduction of stigma associated with seeking help.
  • Maintain accurate and thorough case records, treatment plans, and progress notes in accordance with HIPAA and all relevant regulations, ensuring compliance and confidentiality.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development activities and receive mentorship aimed at enhancing both clinical skills and personal growth.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with a diverse client base, which includes individuals struggling with various mental health challenges, couples needing relational guidance, and families seeking support for their unique dynamics. Embrace Psychology values cultural competence and approaches each client interaction with empathy and understanding. Your role will be instrumental in helping clients feel heard and understood as they explore their feelings and experiences.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program, along with a current, valid LCSW license to practice independently in the state of Georgia.
  • A compassionate, patient-centered approach focusing on understanding the diverse cultural backgrounds and experiences of clients.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills that facilitate effective collaboration within a team setting as well as independent practice.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, which are essential for documenting clinical notes and engaging with clients.
Preferred Experience
  • A minimum of two years of direct clinical experience in a similar role, demonstrating a proven track record in effective therapeutic practices.
  • Experience working with various client populations, including children, adolescents, adults, and families.
  • Background in crisis intervention and experience with evidence-based treatment modalities that enhance therapeutic outcomes.
Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this position ranges from $90,000 to $110,000 annually, commensurate with experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
