• Conduct comprehensive assessments and screenings to understand the unique mental health needs of clients and develop tailored treatment plans.

• Design individualized intervention strategies, focusing on client-specific goals and challenges.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based practices and therapeutic techniques to foster personal growth.

• Engage in close collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and case managers, to deliver holistic care that addresses both mental and physical health aspects.

• Educate and involve clients’ families in the treatment process, fostering collaboration that enhances the overall success of recovery.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential records in accordance with HIPAA regulations and ethical guidelines, ensuring accountability and continuity of care.

Your role as a Mental Health Counselor will focus on clients dealing with a variety of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, substance use disorders, and other co-occurring conditions. You will find yourself serving a diverse clientele, reflecting a variety of ages, cultural backgrounds, and life experiences. This challenging yet rewarding work will allow you to build rapport and tailor therapeutic approaches to meet the distinct needs of each individual.

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field; a Master’s or Doctoral degree is preferred.

• Minimum of two years of experience in mental health counseling or related fields, demonstrating a solid foundation in therapeutic practices.

• Strong knowledge of evidence-based practices relevant to mental health disorders.

• Exceptional interpersonal and counseling skills that facilitate effective communication with clients and collaboration with other professionals.

• Experience in a detox or rehabilitation setting is highly desirable.

• Familiarity with virtual therapy technologies and platforms to deliver remote care effectively.

• Demonstrated experience in creating and implementing treatment plans that have yielded positive client outcomes.
