What is a Remote Safety Management System?

A Remote Safety Management System (RSMS) is a digital platform or set of tools used to monitor, manage, and improve workplace safety from a distance. These systems enable organizations to track safety incidents, audits, training, and compliance remotely, often using cloud-based software and real-time data collection. RSMS can be especially useful for companies with distributed teams, remote worksites, or those needing to ensure safety standards across multiple locations. They often include features such as incident reporting, hazard identification, and automated safety alerts, helping reduce risks and improve compliance with safety regulations.
