Job description

The Performance Marketing Manager owns the execution and optimization of acquisition and demand-driving marketing programs across paid media, SEO, website conversion, and related Marketo campaigns, driving measurable performance through optimized spend, improved conversion rates, and scalable programs that impact pipeline growth. This role is hands-on in Marketo and digital execution and is accountable for channel performance and budget efficiency, collaborating with paid media and SEO agency partners to continuously improve web experiences, landing pages, and campaign journeys.


  • Owns hands-on execution in Marketo for acquisition and demand generation programs, including paid media, content syndication, events, and web conversion-related campaigns.
  • Owns paid media and SEO strategy and execution in partnership with external agencies, ensuring content is optimized for both search engines and LLMs.
  • Owns performance marketing budget allocation, spend pacing, and efficiency (CPL, ROI), ensuring rigorous performance tracking and continuous channel optimization.
  • Optimizes programs against pipeline and revenue goals, not just lead volume.
  • Owns website performance and conversion rate optimization (CRO) strategy.
  • Partners with web development to prioritize and implement landing page, UX, and site performance improvements.
  • Owns and optimizes on-site chat experiences to improve engagement, lead capture, and conversion rates.
  • Develops and executes an experimentation roadmap across ads, landing pages, and campaign journeys, improving digital campaign performance through testing, targeting, and personalization.
  • Maintains database cleanliness and integrity, including list uploads from events and syndication programs.
  • Ensures data accuracy, campaign QA, and operational scalability related to performance marketing campaigns.
  • Creates and manages UTM frameworks to track campaign performance and attribution.
  • Analyzes digital campaign and funnel performance to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Translates data into actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Identifies and champions opportunities to leverage AI and automation (optimizing existing tools and embedded AI features as well as introducing new solutions) to improve efficiency and scalability.
  • Collaborates with Brand and Content, Demand Generation, Events, and Product Marketing teams on integrated campaigns.
  • Creates and maintains clear documentation for digital processes, programs, and recommendations.
  • Conducts market research to identify trends, opportunities, and emerging platforms.
  • Handles additional projects as assigned.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field from an accredited university or college.
  • 5+ years of experience in B2B marketing, preferably in technology or SaaS.
  • Proven track record of driving pipeline and revenue through digital channels.
  • Strong hands-on experience with paid media, SEO, CRO, and campaign execution.
  • Strong proficiency in Marketo and Marketo Measure or similar marketing automation platforms.
  • Experience with AI-powered marketing technologies and implementation strategies.
  • Excellent project management and prioritization skills, with experience using Asana or similar tools.
  • Proficiency in Looker, Power BI, Tableau or similar analytics tools.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on data accuracy and campaign effectiveness.
  • Ability to consistently deliver results on time and within budget.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
