Job description

We’re hiring our first dedicated GTM / Revenue Operations leader to be the operational backbone of a five-person sales team. This is a hands-on, build-from-the-ground-up role: you’ll own the systems, data, and process that let our reps sell more without adding friction. We want someone who is genuinely AI-first - you reach for automation and AI tooling before adding manual work or headcount, and you treat the tech stack as a competitive advantage. If you like turning a scrappy, deal-by-deal sales motion into a measurable, repeatable revenue engine, this is for you.

What You'll Own

Revenue Operations & Systems

• CRM & tech stack: Own and optimize the CRM (and surrounding tools - quoting/CPQ, e-sign, marketing, data enrichment). Keep data clean, automate the busywork, and make the system something reps want to use.

• Sales process: Define and document the funnel from lead to install - stages, exit criteria, handoffs, and the VAR-specific steps (configuration, quoting, project handoff to install).

• Lead-to-cash flow: Connect the dots between sales, quoting, fulfillment, and install so deals move cleanly and nothing falls through the cracks.

Analytics & Forecasting

• Pipeline & forecasting: Build and maintain an accurate, weekly forecast. Give leadership a clear, trusted read on what’s going to close and what’s at risk.

• Reporting & dashboards: Stand up dashboards on pipeline health, conversion, sales-cycle length, win rates, margin by product/segment, and rep performance.

• Insight, not just data: Turn numbers into recommendations - where we’re leaking deals, which segments to lean into, where to set quotas and pricing guardrails.

Sales Enablement & Team Support

• Rep productivity: Equip the five-person team with the playbooks, templates, and automation they need to spend more time selling and less time on admin.

• Onboarding & cadence: Build repeatable onboarding for new reps and run the operating rhythm - pipeline reviews, forecast calls, deal desk.

• Comp & quota support: Help design and administer commission plans, quotas, and territory/account coverage.

AI-First Operations

• Automate first: Deploy AI and automation across the funnel - lead scoring and enrichment, call/email summarization, quote drafting, forecasting assists, and reporting.

• Tooling owner: Evaluate, pilot, and roll out AI tools; train the team to use them and measure the lift.

What You Bring

Experience: 5–8 years in RevOps, sales operations, or GTM operations, ideally supporting a direct sales team. Experience in a VAR, reseller, hardware, or project-based sales environment is a strong plus.

AI-first mindset: You actively use AI and automation in your daily work and have a track record of deploying these tools to make a sales team faster and more accurate.

Analytics horsepower: Strong with data — comfortable in spreadsheets and BI/reporting tools, building forecasts and dashboards, and translating numbers into decisions. SQL or similar is a plus.

Sales ops depth: Hands-on CRM administration and a real understanding of pipeline, forecasting, quoting, and commission mechanics.

Builder mentality: You’re energized by ambiguity and a blank page — you can stand up process and systems where little exists today, without a big team behind you.

Communication: You work closely with reps and leadership, explain the ‘why’ behind process, and get buy-in.

Remote-ready: Self-directed, organized, and effective in a fully remote, U.S.-based team.

Nice to Have

Familiarity with AV, pro display, or technical/installed-product sales.

Experience implementing or migrating a CRM and connected tooling.

CPQ / quoting tool and deal-desk experience.
