Overall Responsibility:

The Corporate Giving & CSR Assistant provides administrative, operational, and coordination support to the Corporate Development team, with a primary focus on workplace giving, matching gifts, corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives, and related corporate engagement activities. This role supports the efficient administration of corporate giving programs through accurate processing, tracking, documentation, and follow-up related to employee giving campaigns, matching gift opportunities, and corporate donor interactions.

Working closely with the Manager, Corporate Relations, Business Development and CSR, the Assistant helps maintain organized systems, accurate records, and timely communication across corporate giving platforms and internal databases. The role also supports report preparation, campaign coordination, donor inquiries, meeting logistics, and general administrative activities that contribute to the overall effectiveness of the Corporate Development function.

This position requires strong organization, attention to detail, professionalism, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Administrative & Operational Support

  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Corporate Relations and CSR function
  • Prepare basic materials such as donor summaries, meeting notes, and internal documents
  • Organize digital files, forms, and corporate giving resources
  • Schedule meetings and coordinate calendars as requested

Workplace Giving & Matching Gifts Support

  • Assist in processing workplace giving and matching gift submissions through corporate platforms (e.g., Benevity, CyberGrants, YourCause)
  • Monitor matching gift systems (e.g., Double the Donation) and flag pending actions for follow-up
  • Track matching gift activity and ensure proper documentation is completed
  • Support follow-up requests for gift confirmations and required documentation

Data Entry & Reporting

  • Enter and update donor and corporate engagement information in CRM systems (e.g., Studio Enterprise)
  • Maintain accurate records of workplace giving, matching gifts, and corporate interactions
  • Assist in preparing basic reports and summaries for internal use
  • Compile spreadsheets and track data related to campaigns and corporate engagement

Corporate Giving Platform Support

  • Assist in maintaining organizational profiles across corporate giving platforms
  • Update basic content such as organization descriptions, logos, and impact statements
  • Support posting of updates or campaign-related information as directed

Donor & Employee Support

  • Respond to basic inquiries from corporate donors and employees regarding matching gifts and workplace giving processes
  • Provide general guidance on how to submit donations or matching gift requests
  • Escalate complex inquiries to the Manager as needed

Campaign & Outreach Support

  • Assist in coordinating workplace giving campaigns and employee engagement initiatives
  • Support preparation of materials such as emails, flyers, and basic campaign content
  • Coordinate with internal teams to support campaign execution

Additional Responsibilities

  • Support special projects and initiatives as assigned
  • Perform other administrative duties as needed to support the Corporate Development team

Education & Experience:      

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, Nonprofit Management, or related field preferred
  • 1–3 years of administrative, data entry, or coordination experience
  • Experience in nonprofit, fundraising, or corporate environments is a plus

Skills:

  • Strong organizational and administrative skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
