This position is fully remote, allowing for flexibility in how therapy sessions are conducted while ensuring safe and effective care. Our outpatient office serves as a hub for the multidisciplinary treatment team where collaboration and communication flow seamlessly. You will engage primarily through virtual platforms, with opportunities for face-to-face interactions as needed, making our services accessible to a broad range of clients in the community.

• Lead supportive individual counseling sessions under the supervision of nursing staff, employing therapeutic techniques to address the needs of various clients.
• Monitor and document patient progress diligently, including writing legible and comprehensive progress notes that reflect advancements toward treatment goals.
• Conduct regular evaluations and updates on treatment plans, ensuring that they align with the evolving needs of clients.
• Provide orientation to clients and their families regarding the therapeutic process, empowering them to actively engage in their care.
• Assist clients with personal needs and set up, establishing trust and rapport that facilitates effective therapy.
• Report any significant changes in client behavior or emotional state to the clinical team to address potential crises proactively.
• Advocate for necessary services and support for clients, making informed recommendations based on observations and interactions.
• Utilize time management skills effectively to prioritize tasks, ensuring completion of documentation and responsibilities by the end of your shift.

The clients you will work with include individuals, couples, and families from diverse backgrounds, each facing unique challenges that require tailored therapeutic strategies. You will be providing support for various issues such as anxiety, depression, relationship conflicts, trauma, and family dynamics. Your expertise will play a significant role in fostering emotional healing and wellness in the community.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field is required.
• An independent license from the state board (LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW) is required; limited or provisional licenses will not be accepted.
• Demonstrated ability to make sound professional evaluations, decisions, and recommendations in treatment planning.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills capable of building rapport and trust with clients and their families.
• Strong computer skills and proficiency in teletherapy platforms are essential.

Experience working with diverse populations and within outpatient therapy settings is preferred. Familiarity with current mental health treatment methodologies and the ability to provide crisis intervention are highly valued. Previous experience in a remote work environment would be advantageous.

Calm Harbor Psychiatric Solutions offers a competitive salary range of USD 120,000 – 130,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
