Overview

The Senior Project Manager coordinates all aspects of a client project from inception to deployment, working crossfunctionally to ensure projects are completed on time, on budget, and within scope.

Starting base pay for this role is between $108,000 and $135,000. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as transferable skills, work experience, business needs, training, location, and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role will be eligible for a bonus as well as competitive medical, dental, and vision benefits, wellness reimbursement, life insurance, and a 401(k) with company match. We offer vacation and sick leave benefits (under a flexible time off policy in most states).

Responsibilities
  • Creates and maintains all artifacts in standard Origami PM toolkit
  • Builds and maintains project schedule
  • Manages project scope, including the identification of scope creep / out-of-scope items
  • Plans and leads external kickoff meeting
  • Works with Manager, Professional Services to ensure the necessary resources are allocated to the project
  • Works with the Project Lead to ensure all deliverables have been assigned to a team member
  • Plans and leads status meetings with client
  • Plans and leads internal status meetings
  • Manages project implementation budget and related financials, including invoicing, forecasting, and calculating gross margin
  • Maintains implementation related data in tools, as required
  • Assists team with coordinating and scheduling meetings, both internal and external
  • Prepares and presents applicable client / project status reports, with the ability to adapt content and delivery to varying audiences and stakeholders
  • Facilitates documentation of key decisions, action items, approvals, and signoffs
  • Records hours worked in accordance with Origami's time entry policy
  • Manages tracking, erosion, auditing, approving (as needed), and reporting of implementation project hours
  • Ensures accurate and timely entry and reporting of all team members' hours worked for all assigned implementation projects
  • Manages against project scope and facilitates change control process in partnership with Account Management as scope changes or expansions arise
  • Identifies and manages risks and issues and escalates through leadership chain as appropriate
  • Manages up with SDM and other Leadership to provide status updates, request assistance and flag dependencies, challenges, and needs
  • Acts as a mentor to less experienced Origami colleagues
  • Assists with the training and onboarding of new Origami colleagues
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering or Business-related field
  • 6+ years of previous technical project manager experience
  • Previous system replacement and/or integration project management experience required
  • Previous experience working with business and technical executives to outline and executive against strategic roadmaps required
  • Previous stakeholder and vendor management experience in a project environment preferred
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Advanced Microsoft Office suite skills
  • Risk industry experience preferred
