Overview

Our customer is seeking an experienced DAS Project Manager to oversee the design, deployment, and integration of public safety (ERRCS) and cellular Distributed Antenna Systems. This remote role requires a hands-on leader who can manage full project lifecycles, coordinate cross-functional teams, and ensure compliance with regulatory, performance, and quality standards across multiple active deployments.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of public safety and cellular DAS projects from design through close-out
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, vendors, carriers, and internal teams
  • Partner with RF engineers and field teams to ensure proper system design, installation, testing, and optimization
  • Oversee ERRCS and commercial DAS deployments to ensure performance, reliability, and compliance
  • Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, forecasts, and risk mitigation plans
  • Ensure all installations comply with NFPA, IFC, FCC regulations, AHJ requirements, and carrier specifications
  • Conduct site walks, oversee installation activities, and validate adherence to project plans
  • Coordinate with DAS OEMs, contractors, and carriers to streamline deployment execution
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, reporting, and close-out records
  • All other duties as assigned.


Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience managing public safety and cellular DAS deployment projects
  • Mandatory hands-on experience with ERRCS systems
  • Strong understanding of DAS design and optimization, including iBwave, fiber optics, and RF testing
  • Proven project management expertise across budgeting, scheduling, and risk mitigation
  • Working knowledge of NFPA 72/1221, IFC 510, FCC requirements, and local permitting processes
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects
  • Ability to travel frequently for site visits as required by project needs
  • Clean background, valid driverโ€™s license, and acceptable DMV record


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a startup or fast-scaling environment
  • Knowledge of fiber internet technology and market trends
  • Experience working closely with Field Support or Network Operations teams
  • Experience building or improving customer support processes and tools


Work Environment/Additional Information

  • Remote role with regular site visits
  • Travel requirements vary by project phase and may range from approximately 30% to 90%
  • Site visits followed by remote project execution


Compensation and Benefits:

  • Salary: $100k-120K/year DOE (Exempt)
