FULLY REMOTE JOB OPPORTUNITY - SR TECHNICAL PROGRAM MANAGER
Maxana seeks to hire a Senior Technical Program Manager to work with a Major Silicon Valley Client.
Overview
The Senior TPM role includes managing project schedules, identifying risks, and maintaining clear communications across multiple stakeholder groups across the organization. In addition, you will make work repeatable by creating and improving processes where applicable. A strong history of technical work with machine learning software and AI is required
In short, you will get things done by bringing clarity out of chaos, diving into the details, and communicating clearly and promptly. In addition, you are good at building relationships, motivating others with vision, and persuading with data.
Core Responsibilities
  • Understand business objectives, product and tech roadmaps, requirements, and dependencies
  • Manage complex programs from planning to implementation to delivery
  • Drive accountability and ownership in a fast-paced environment.
  • Active role in aligning on priorities and dependencies within Insurance and cross-functional teams, proactively removing obstacles and managing ongoing risk escalation/ mitigation, which could impact the success of the programs.
  • Provide direct hands-on work and assistance for a wide variety of program activities
  • Manage a broad set of stakeholders, ongoing communication of the right content to the appropriate audience (technical and non-technical).
  • Provide visibility into key performance indicators, so leaders know risks and opportunities.
  • Use data and analysis to identify process and productivity waste and improve business outcome value
  • Build influence, trust, and strong collaborative relationships with cross-functional teams and leadership across Product, Engineering, Design, Finance, Legal, Compliance, Community Support, and external partners.
  • A strong history of technical work with machine learning software and AI

Basic Qualifications
  • BA/BS degree, 5-7 years of experience as a TPM managing software development programs
  • Familiar with backend service development and service-oriented architecture. Understanding end-to-end service interaction and its impact on application performance.
  • Detail-oriented and able to understand the bigger picture by using your technical expertise and problem-solving abilities to prioritize and manage blocking issues
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Ability to proactively identify opportunities to better support teams in day-to-day activities and take actions to move things forward without waiting to be asked
  • Well versed in Jira (Agile) or other equivalent task management tooling.
  • Capable of connecting the dots in a complex program in order to arrive at a conclusion
  • Exhibit the desire and ability to learn new products and technologies quickly with minimal lag time.
  • Demonstrate ability to work through ambiguity to detailed solutions You can take a vague problem, crisply frame the challenge, identify a path forward, and drive an initiative over the finish line.
  • A strong technical background with strong interests in machine learning software and AI

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in a highly cross-functional environment where communication with multiple groups is imperative.
  • Demonstrate excellent written and oral business communication and people skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders.
  • Prior experience in digital payments, insurance, and regulated products in tech, is a plus.

Compensation
$65 - $85 per hour + Benefits (W2 / C2H) Negotiable based on experience.

Monday-Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm PST
