Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY
The qualified candidate will interface with field sales, our customers, engineering, project management and service branches to provide valued solutions for our customers. Accomplish field engineering inspections resulting in reports from field inspection data gathered, while utilizing Konecranes software tools and Microsoft Office Products tools.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The individual will create reports that accurately communicate all aspects of the field inspection and the engineering analysis. The qualified candidate will have strong technical writing skills and a basic engineering understanding of mechanical/structural terminology and systems.
Additionally, the candidate will perform and create solutions such as: Rail Q, Rail Q 3D, Crane Geometric, CRS inspection reports, Alignments and other Inspections/Testing for all industries.
Qualifications
REQUIRED SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:
The position will require full working knowledge of Microsoft office products (excel, word, power point and adobe) with experience in producing professional documents. . Various software programs and report producing tools will be provided with this position.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
A BSME, BSMET or other technical engineering field is preferred, but applicable experience will be taken into consideration. The position will require training and the ability to learn Konecranes internal technical software programs.
50% Travel Required
