Job description

Job Summary This position enhances the production process by optimizing cycle time and quality through process improvement activities, cycle time studies and root cause analysis.
Essential Functions
* Robotics, (teaching, programming)
* Adjust and repair machining fixtures.
* Robotic welding (teaching, setup, troubleshooting)
* Apply countermeasures for quality issues.
* Evaluate and make process improvements. (CT, stability, quality etc.)
* Adjusts machines for change in raw material
* Participates in line improvement activities through analyzing process flow, making recommendations to improve process flow while considering economic and * production constraints and requirements.
* Completes project activities as directed by senior management, requiring both data analysis and follow up.
* Creates reports to show progress of improvement activities, including situation analysis and countermeasure activity.
Other Functions
* Maintains safe and clean work environment.
* Maintains working relationship with production associates.
* Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.
* Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Minimum Requirements
Education: Bachelors, Associates degree, or Technical Certificate in Engineering field. Willing to train.
Experience: Must be familiar Robotics (teaching and programing), welding and robotic welding.
Skills: This position requires the ability to analyze data, understand process flow, read drawings, use quality control tools including calipers and micrometers. Organization, interpersonal, and computer skills, and the ability to work in a team environment are also required.
Working Conditions: The position requires the ability to work in a climate controlled office, a shop floor environment, walk on concrete floors, lift up to 40 pounds, perform repetitive keystrokes on a continual basis, and occasionally bend, kneel, twist, and reach.
