FTE: 1.00

Standard Hours: 40.00

Shift: Flexible 7 am to 5pm

Job Summary:

The Manager of Analytics Solutions advises, consults, and collaborates with clinical and administrative leadership around the design, implementation, and adoption of analytics applications and processes. This role oversees the development and delivery of analytic solutions utilizing project management principles, continuous improvement methodologies, emerging artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) capabilities, all in alignment with department and organizational strategic priorities. Serving as a product manager, this role also generates product roadmaps, manages the product lifecycle, and establishes and monitors adoption key performance indicators. The leader provides direct oversight of the analytics team and is responsible for coaching and developing team members in advanced analytical acumen, including responsible AI use, automation opportunities, and augmentation of insights through emerging technologies. This role requires a unique combination of knowledge in healthcare operations, requirement analysis, product delivery, and data analysis.

EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION:

Five (5) years of analytics experience is required

Two (2) years working in a health system with a focus on advanced data analysis, programming, modeling, application deployment, technology implementation, or internal management consulting required.

Experience working in a large, complex academic health systems is preferred.

Experience leading an analytics team, preferred

Experience in EHR (Epic) data sources preferred

EDUCATION DESCRIPTION:

Bachelor's Degree in quantitative discipline or social sciences (Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Engineering, Statistics, Data Science, Health Care Administration, or related field) is required.

In lieu of aligned degree, equivalent combination of education and experience required.

Master's Degree or other advanced degree preferred (business administration, health administration, economics, engineering, or computer sciences).

TRAINING DESCRIPTION:

Working knowledge of data marts, data warehouses, SQL, EPIC and/or formal training in SQL and Advanced BI Tools, such as PowerBI or Tableau is required.

Knowledge of data storage, retrieval systems, and report writing. Intermediate knowledge of Statistics.

SPECIAL SKILLS DESCRIPTION:

Excellent communication, collaboration, and delegation skills.

Ability to effectively coach and mentor analytics staff.

Design thinking with strong project management skills, process improvement, quantitative, and analytical abilities.

Strong ability to plan and manage numerous processes, people, and projects simultaneously.

Experience working in cross-functional teams. Proficiency in Microsoft Office application suite.

LICENSURE DESCRIPTION:

Certification in Epic report writing modules is preferred.
