FORVIA is looking for a year-round Continuous Improvement Intern (FES) for its location in Madison, MS. Your mission, roles and responsibilities Our Seating Division is looking for a Faurecia Excellent Systems and Productivity Intern for its manufacturing facility in Madison, Mississippi. The main missions of the role are: Follow up with plant on FES deployment plan, to support the Plant Improvement Plan (PIP) execution.

Provide FES knowledge and skills to the plant team through training, coaching and education. Contribute to the Plant MOD cost budget construction & achievement, through efficient "MOD cost management" & "MOD cost improvement plan." Ensure efficient data management methodology is correctly applied for direct standard and actual labor cost accuracy. Ensure DLE/DLP tracking process linked with the DL cost % results Support the implementation of FES improvement tools for production reliability, change over standards (flexibility), reduction of Line stoppages, Line balancing and overall MOD efficiency

Ensure identification of MOD "Productivity Potential). Contribute to the lead reduction through the implementation of continuous flow, layout optimization and pull-system changes. Support FES network in the plant Contribute to the deployment of FES culture at Supervisor & GAP Leader level Propose and promote best practices within the Plant (FES Network) Participate in workshops to test the new lean concepts Other responsibilities: Ensure full respect of HSE rules and regulations.

Ensure respect for the environment and secure internal control of the plant. Commitment to the highest ethical standards and willingness to promote and adhere to Faurecia's code of ethics and code of management. Support and follow Being Faurecia values and convictions.

Position Authority: Update monthly reporting of the facility's FES score and deployment of tools pushed by the business group. Lead the production teams to greater efficiency and success through corrective coaching daily. Make updates and changes to standard work and cycle times in our master data list.

Assist with any additional tasks as assigned by the company. Your profile and competencies to succeed The ideal candidate will have/be: Minimum education level: Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in engineering.
