At Dental Crafters Network, process engineers don't just improve workflows they shape how we operate. We're a family-owned lab that moves fast and takes craftsmanship seriously.

We're looking for someone who will:

Be a core member of the Dental Crafters Network engineering team, working alongside the Maintenance Engineer to drive process excellence and continuous improvement across manufacturing operations. This is a hands-on engineering role centered on process development, CAD/CAM and 3D printing workflows, work instructions and validations, and ISO 13485 documentation. The Process Engineer partners closely with the Maintenance Engineer on production challenges and with the Engineering Lead on cross-functional priorities and team development.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

Apply process engineering principles in support of new product development and ensure all required documentation is completed in a timely manner

Lead in development, testing, and improvement of manufacturing processes for optimization of production floor

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration of new processes, technologies, and equipment.

Actively support Dental Crafters' ISO 13485 program through document management, record maintenance, employee training, process validation, and work instruction development. 

Collaborate with the Maintenance Engineer and IT Applications Manager to identify and resolve software-related challenges impacting production

Utilize advanced CAD/CAM tools and processes to support design, manufacturing, and troubleshooting needs

Improve existing production workflows using 3D printing technologies and processes via material selection and software integration

Provide first-line equipment troubleshooting and partner with the Maintenance Engineer on corrective action, calibration, and recurring equipment issues; document services performed.

Uphold safety, OSHA, and regulatory standards in all process and equipment work.

Cross-train across engineering disciplines to support team continuity and ensure no walls within the Engineering function

Qualifications

B.S. Degree in Engineering or 2-5 years' experience in process or manufacturing engineering, with relevant hands-on experience in either professional or academic settings

Experience with Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) Software and Quick Response Manufacturing (QRM) methodologies preferred

Experience with CAD/CAM and additive manufacturing (3D printing); dental lab or medical device experience a plus.

Comfortable with hands-on equipment work; able to support preventive maintenance, perform basic troubleshooting, and read technical specifications.

Strong project management skills, with a proven track record of leading and completing projects on time and within budget

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey technical information to cross-functional teams

Adaptability in fast-paced environments, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously

Quality-focused mindset, demonstrating attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards in all aspects of production and process engineering
