To thrive as a Remote Personal Injury attorney or claims specialist, you need a strong background in personal injury law, case evaluation, and legal research, generally supported by a law degree and state bar admission. What are the typical work arrangements and team interactions for a Remote Personal Injury professional?

Remote Personal Injury professionals generally work from home or another location with secure internet access, utilizing virtual case management systems to handle client files and documentation. Litigation will be on a broad range of personal injury cases including auto accidents, premises liability, medical malpractice, elder abuse, and sexual abuse cases. The ideal candidate will have the opportunity to be involved in active litigation, including taking and defending depositions, conducting discovery, attending mediation, arguing law and motion, and serving as either first or second chair in arbitration and/or jury trials. Our attorneys litigate cases and are provided all the resources to do so, all to obtain the client maximum recovery and not settle for less due to being handcuffed by a pre-litigation only firm. This is great opportunity for those attorneys that are seeking to evolve their litigation skills as the firm's leadership invests in educating associate attorneys. This role is currently remote but will transition to fully on-site in our Oakland, CA office in the near future.

  • Communicate effectively and frequently with clients, opposing counsel, and courts, including engaging in regular settlement negotiations on behalf of clients
  • Manage caseload independently while collaborating with company attorneys and support staff

Requirements

  • J.D. from an accredited law school
  • Active California State Bar membership
  • Minimum 1-4 years of personal injury or similar law experience
  • Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and courtroom advocacy abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines

Benefits

  • Salary commensurate with your experience ($100,000.00 - $180,000.00)
  • Commission percentage on settled cases depending on experience
  • Monthly bonuses based on settlement amounts
  • We have a company culture that fosters career growth and opportunity
  • We are a team โ€“ everyone is important and contributes to corporate growth and success
  • We believe continuing education is important, so we pay membership dues to various professional organizations, and we pay for MCLE courses. We pay your bar dues as well as any relevant continuing education opportunities you choose to attend
  • We offer health and dental plans, and offer life, vision and pet insurance
  • We recognize that time off to recharge is important, so we offer paid time off that starts to accrue on your first day of work.
  • Our generous 401k and profit share plan is designed with your future in mind

If you're the ideal candidate, we would like the opportunity to invite you to the office to discuss joining our team of talent.
