  • Compile and deliver detailed payroll reporting insights to support internal compliance documentation and financial reconciliation tracking.

What success looks like in this role:

  • Execute all scheduled payroll cycles with zero material errors to ensure timely and precise employee compensation.
  • Resolve employee payroll inquiries and support tickets within agreed-upon internal service level timeframes to maintain high internal service satisfaction.
  • Consistently deliver reconciled monthly payroll data inputs ahead of financial close deadlines to support accurate cross-departmental reporting.
  • Complete payroll tax account audits and state agency notice responses on time to prevent penalties or regulatory compliance backlog.
  • Modernize payroll tracking routines by decreasing the volume of manual spreadsheet interventions through automated system configurations.

What you'll bring:

  • 5+ years of dedicated payroll administration experience handling multi-state tax compliance and regulatory requirements.
  • In-depth understanding of local, state, and federal wage-and-hour laws, payroll tax guidelines, and statutory regulations.
  • Direct experience managing payroll systems and navigating software infrastructure to support data updates.
  • Strong technical capability in data verification tools, standard formulas, and compiling accurate pivot tables.
  • Proven analytical capacity to audit complex datasets, diagnose payroll friction points, and isolate data errors.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a history of maintaining strict confidentiality when dealing with sensitive compensation records.

Nice to have:

  • Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) designation.
  • Prior experience managing specialized equity compensation payrolls or working alongside international employer-of-record models.
