Job description

We are looking for an experienced Business Development Representative to build strategic relationships for our Addiction Recovery Programs in the Greater Houston Area!
Job Summary:
The Business Development Representative (BDR) is responsible for generating qualified leads, building strategic relationships, and supporting the growth of Discovery MSO through outreach to referral partners, healthcare providers, community organizations, and prospective clients. This role focuses on identifying new business opportunities, nurturing relationships, and driving awareness of the organization’s programs and services. The BDR collaborates closely with the marketing, admissions, and outreach teams to ensure accurate representation of program offerings and seamless handoff of leads into the admissions
pipeline.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Lead Generation amp; Outreach:
  • Conduct outreach to potential referral partners, healthcare professionals, and community organizations to promote Discovery MSO programs.
  • Qualify inbound and outbound leads through calls, emails, social outreach, and networking.
  • Maintain consistent follow-up to nurture relationships and move prospects through the business development funnel.
  • Represent the organization with professionalism, compassion, and knowledge of behavioral health services.
Relationship Building:
  • Develop and maintain relationships with treatment centers, therapists, physicians, hospitals, and other referral sources.
  • Participate in community events, conferences, and meetings to expand Discovery MSO’s network and visibility.
  • Support ongoing engagement efforts to strengthen existing referral partnerships.
Collaboration amp; Cross-Department Coordination:
  • Coordinate with the admissions team to ensure leads are accurately transferred and tracked.
  • Partner with marketing to align messaging, campaigns, and brand awareness efforts.
  • Work with internal leadership to identify gaps in referral networks or emerging markets.
Tracking, Reporting amp; CRM Management:
  • Maintain detailed records of outreach, conversations, referrals, and follow-up activity using CRM software.
  • Provide regular updates and performance metrics to the Director of Business Development.
  • Track effectiveness of outreach strategies and propose enhancements to improve conversion rates.
Market Awareness amp; Program Knowledge:
  • Maintain a strong working knowledge of all Discovery MSO programs, treatment offerings, and clinical criteria.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor landscape, and community needs to inform outreach strategy.
  • Identify new business opportunities in alignment with organizational goals.
Job Type: Full-time; exempt
Pay Range: $100,000 - $120,000 annually
Schedule:
  • Day Shift: 8:00am - 5:00pm
  • Monday through Friday
Qualifications:
