Position Overview

StrongMynd Plus Support, Inc. is seeking dedicated Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists to join our dynamic team on a full-time basis. This position is 100% remote, providing you with the flexibility to deliver exceptional mental health services to families across New Castle, Colorado, and beyond. As a member of our therapeutic team, you will be instrumental in improving the lives of children with developmental and intellectual disabilities through tailored therapeutic interventions.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct individualized in-home therapy sessions via telehealth, enabling access to families in need of mental health support.
• Facilitate group therapy sessions focusing on essential skills such as anger management, coping strategies, and social skills training, all aimed at minimizing high-risk behaviors like self-injury and aggression.
• Collaborate closely with the Child Family Treatment Team and other professionals to implement integrated care strategies that meet the holistic needs of the family.
• Document session notes, treatment plans, and patient progress in a timely manner using our secure electronic health record system.
• Participate in regular team meetings to share insights, suggest best practices, and contribute to case reviews regarding client treatment strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will focus primarily on children and adolescents aged 3 to 20 who are struggling with developmental and intellectual disabilities. You will engage directly with families, working to educate caregivers about behavioral management strategies and decision-making processes that foster positive outcomes at home and in community settings.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Counseling, Family Therapy, or a related field.
• Current and unrestricted License as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Colorado.
• A valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation for potential home visits.
• Completion of a thorough criminal background check, including fingerprinting, required before employment.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in providing positive behavior support and employing evidence-based interventions.
• Prior experience working with clients holding intellectual or developmental disabilities is highly preferred.
• Flexibility to provide services during after-school hours (4 PM – 7 PM) is a plus.
• Bilingual candidates fluent in Spanish or Portuguese will be highly regarded.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 105,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. StrongMynd Plus Support, Inc. offers a comprehensive benefits package that enhances your work-life balance, including:
