If you have deep biopharma industry experience and looking for a change to leverage your expertise to serve as a HEOR/Access/Medical Affairs consultant to our clients, AESARA is hiring for a Vice President, Strategic Partnerships. As a member of the Strategic Partnerships team, you will:

  1. Identify Value & Access clients, drive business development, and sales of new and existing projects across client accounts.
  2. Develop and deliver high quality, timely strategic considerations and advice as a peer thought partner for biotech and pharma clients on reimbursement, value & access, and health economics and outcomes research topics
  3. Execute the fundamentals of project management and professional service delivery
  4. Live the AESARA agency model as lead for one or more key client accounts, creating a trusted partnership and opportunities for future work
  5. Accelerate AESARA’s growth by helping build and shape the organization, particularly in our high-growth transformation areas of focus
  6. Contribute to development of digital solutions by providing client insights and subject matter expertise

Core job areas of responsibilities include:

Business Development

  • Accountable for P&L with sales target
  • Provide cross-portfolio services to clients
  • Understand the client's organization and build reach within organization
  • Identify and drive new business opportunities

Client Account Management

  • Partner with value evidence team who provides service delivery to ensure high quality deliverables
  • Monitor budgets to mitigate scope deviations, engage clients on adjustments
  • Lead through any conflict resolutions that arise
  • Ensure appropriate resourcing and skill sets for the project team
  • Drive client engagement and assign project team on roles and responsibilities
  • Provide final review of workplan, proposals, and interim/final deliverables

Subject Matter Expertise

  • Provide technical knowledge in your area of expertise to align with company’s core and emerging business areas of focus
  • Bring business and strategic acumen for projects to the client
  • Demonstrate subject matter expertise for client/agency growth
  • Train and upskill staff on your subject matter expertise that align to our core and emerging areas of focus

The Candidate

  • Graduate level education and 15+ years demonstrated leadership ability and experience in Value and Access, including senior roles within biotech and/or pharmaceutical companies
  • Desirable to have prior experience in driving yearly sales and revenue targets.
  • Experienced in development and execution of Value and Access deliverables: Global/US pricing, launching strategies/sequencing, and referencing pricing, US market access and contracting, RWD studies, economic models, value dossiers and value communications.
  • Deep experience of developing evidence-based value propositions, clinical development value measurement strategies, value evidence generation plans, HTA, price & reimbursement processes
  • Accustomed to delivering impactful value & access input and insight across the development and commercialization lifecycle
  • Proficient in producing clear and professional MS PowerPoint and MS Excel outputs
