Position Summary

Reporting to the Director of Sales Operations, the Sales Operations Specialist supports the full commercial lifecycle, from lead intake and pipeline management through deal execution and handoff. This role ensures CRM accuracy, pipeline quality, forecasting reliability, and consistent execution of sales processes. The Sales Operations Specialist works closely with Sales, Operations, Product, Finance, Legal, and other cross-functional partners to reduce friction, improve visibility, and enable scalable growth.


We are seeking a Sales Operations Specialist to support the sales team. This position plays a key role in supporting Sales Operations, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, operational excellence, and compliance standards. This role includes competitive base pay plus lucrative incentive compensation.


Key Responsibilities
  • Supports the sales team with pipeline management, lead qualification, and CRM data maintenance
  • Generates and analyzes sales reports to monitor KPIs, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.
  • Assists in developing sales forecasts and contributes to the preparation of annual sales budgets.
  • Provides support for deal enablement and commercial execution
  • Works closely with marketing, logistics, finance, and other departments to ensure seamless execution of sales activities.
  • Ensure all sales materials are current, accurate, professionally formatted, and aligned with brand standards, messaging frameworks, and product positioning.
  • Captures event leads and completes post-event follow up
  • Tracks won and lost sales opportunities and documents insights to help improve the sales process

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or related field (Required)
  • Licensure/Certification: None
  • Experience:
  • 3-5 years or professional experience in a business support function (Required)
  • Experience supporting sales operations, CRM management, and pipeline reporting in a commercial environment (Preferred)
  • Experience supporting operational, process-oriented work within sales or commercial teams (Preferred)
  • Experience working in fast-growing or scaling organizations (Preferred)
  • Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
  • Knowledge of sales operations processes across the full sales lifecycle and CRM systems (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar) (Required)
  • Knowledge of sales operations best practices in a scaling, high-growth environment (Preferred)
  • Familiarity with cross-functional deal coordination and RFP or proposal support processes (Preferred)
  • CRM admin support and data hygiene, cross-functional coordination and communication, and process documentation skills (Required)
  • Familiarity with lead tracking, follow-ups, and post-event support (Preferred)
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams, maintain high attention to detail (Required)
  • Ability to Identify process gaps and recommend improvements (Required)
  • Ability to maintain consistent documentation and assist with creation of workflows (Preferred)
  • Ability to be flexible and adapt to evolving processes and changing priorities (Preferred)
  • Ability to work collaboratively and communicatively (Preferred)

Work Environment

  • Location: Hybrid or Remote
  • Schedule: 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. Monday through Friday with night and weekend hours on occasion as determined by the needs of the business.
  • Regular meetings with internal Commercial, Business Development, Operations, Marketing, Product, Finance, and Legal teams. This role may also have limited participation in meetings with external clients.
Key Essential Functions
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position for extended periods while writing or reviewing documentation
  • Must be able to work on a computer for the entire shift
  • Must be able to attend virtual meetings with cross-functional teams
