Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments for elderly clients, determining their unique psychological and emotional needs and formulating appropriate care plans.
• Provide one-on-one and group counseling sessions to address emotional difficulties related to aging, loss, and life transitions, using evidence-based therapeutic approaches.
• Engage with multidisciplinary healthcare teams, contributing insights and recommendations to enrich individualized care strategies for geriatric residents.
• Offer educational resources and training for families and facility staff aimed at enhancing the emotional well-being and overall quality of life for seniors.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field, equipping you with advanced knowledge in mental health practices.
• A valid state license to practice as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• A minimum of three years of relevant clinical experience, with a strong emphasis on working with geriatric populations.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive yearly salary in the range of USD 85,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and the number of hours worked. In addition to a desirable salary, you will be eligible for a lucrative sign-on bonus, making your compensation package particularly appealing.
