Work Environment

This role is fully remote, allowing for a flexible work setting conducive to your individual productivity and comfort. Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, your day-to-day tasks will include:

  • Group Therapy Facilitation: You will lead therapeutic group sessions, creating a safe space for participants to share experiences, and fostering connections among clients that enhance their healing journeys.
  • Individual Counseling: Conduct one-on-one sessions, employing evidence-based techniques to help clients explore their emotions, thoughts, and behaviors, while collaboratively developing practical coping strategies.
  • Treatment Planning: Work alongside clients to establish individualized treatment plans that reflect their unique needs and recovery goals, ensuring these plans are both realistic and achievable.
  • Progress Monitoring: Utilize various assessment tools and feedback methods to assess client progress, modify treatment strategies as necessary, and celebrate client milestones.
  • Collaborative Team Work: Engage actively with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, sharing insights, coordinating care efforts, and contributing to complex case discussions to achieve optimal client outcomes.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily serve clients aged 18 to 30, addressing a range of mental health issues commonly faced by young adults, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and adjustment challenges. Your role directly impacts the lives of these clients, enabling them to understand their experiences and make positive changes toward better mental health.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

  • A Masterโ€™s Degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Possession of a valid Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) license.
