In your role as a Remote Mental Health Counselor, you will:

• Provide individual counseling sessions via video chat, focusing on goal-setting and therapeutic interventions to enhance your clients' mental health.
• Facilitate both structured and unstructured conversations, encouraging clients to articulate their emotions and experiences, thereby allowing insight into their personal dynamics.
• Advocate for your clients, assisting them in identifying personal and relational goals that align with their values and aspirations.
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of clients’ mental health conditions, employing evidence-based treatment plans tailored to their unique situations and employing a solution-focused approach.
• Utilize our high-quality counselor dashboard for session management and documentation, effectively streamlining case notes to maintain focus on client care instead of administrative tasks.

Your clients will primarily consist of stable adults experiencing low acuity mental health challenges, allowing you to work in a supportive and manageable environment. All clients are pre-screened to ensure they are suitable for treatment within a remote counseling context. In addition, you have the autonomy to choose the demographics you wish to work with, ensuring alignment with your expertise and comfort level.

To qualify for this role, candidates must possess:

• A master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• Full licensure to practice independently as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW, ensuring compliance with state regulations and the ability to evaluate and implement treatment plans.
• Strong ability to communicate with clients empathetically and effectively, demonstrating exceptional interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with technology and digital platforms, essential for delivering remote therapy and managing client records.

While not mandatory, the following are preferred:

• Prior experience in teletherapy or remote counseling practices, facilitating sessions through video conferencing.
• Background in working with diverse populations and an understanding of culturally responsive practices in therapy.
• Experience with treatment modalities focused on short-term, solution-oriented frameworks.
