Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, you will have a variety of responsibilities that contribute directly to the well-being of our clients and the overall mission of Top Point Counseling Clinic. Your day-to-day duties will include:

• Conducting thorough mental health evaluations to accurately diagnose clients and formulate individualized treatment plans.
• Implementing therapeutic interventions and documenting client progress through detailed case notes, treatment plans, and ongoing assessments, complying with company policies.
• Maintaining a productive caseload of 25-30 client sessions per week, while providing top-notch customer service and fostering a supportive therapeutic relationship.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate comprehensive care, including liaising with case managers, medical personnel, and families.
• Engaging in innovative therapeutic practices and employing creativity in interventions to exceed clients' therapeutic goals.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will be working with a diverse population that includes children, adolescents, couples, and families facing various mental health challenges. This role demands a nuanced understanding of family dynamics and the ability to navigate complex emotional landscapes. Comfort and familiarity with clients from diverse backgrounds are essential, and you will be expected to model stable boundaries and foster safe therapeutic spaces.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy.
• A current and active Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist license in the state of California.
• Strong foundation in family therapy techniques, mental health documentation, and community resource networks.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills that facilitate a therapeutic dialogue and rapport with clients.
• A commitment to maintaining professional boundaries while demonstrating compassion and empathy.
• Ability to pass a background check as required for clinical practice.

Preferred Experience

• Hands-on experience with therapeutic practices involving children, adolescents, couples, and families.
• A proven track record of completing treatment plans and clinical case notes with attention to detail.
• Familiarity with fee collection processes at the time of service, enhancing accessibility for clients.

Compensation and Benefits

Top Point Counseling Clinic offers a competitive annual salary between USD 120,000 and USD 140,000, along with a generous sign-on bonus of USD 3,000. Our compensation structure is tailored to fit individual needs with both hourly pay and commission on claims. Additional benefits include:
