Job description

ABOUT VISIONPOINT MARKETING
VisionPoint Marketing is on a mission to become higher education's most trusted enrollment marketing partner. As a full-service agency, we collaborate with colleges and universities nationwide to strengthen brands, accelerate marketing performance, and drive measurable enrollment growth. Our award-winning work is showcased on national conference stages, but our greatest pride is making life easier-and more successful-for our client partners. Headquartered in Raleigh, NC, we operate as a remote-first company with VisionPointers across every U.S. time zone, while offering hybrid and in-person options for those near our headquarters.
VisionPoint Marketing is seeking a skilled integrated marketer with experience in digital media with a focus in ad operations to join our team as a Media Supervisor. The Media Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the execution of tactical media plans for our higher education clients' campaigns. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of digital strategies and experience executing complex campaigns across a variety of advertising channels, including Paid Search, Paid Social, Programmatic, OOH, and TV/Radio.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Your primary charge will be 'Excellence in Execution' for all clients and campaigns under your supervision, providing support, review, and quality assurance on campaigns managed by channel specialists.
  • Focus on solidifying and improving the team's ad operations, identifying, implementing, and documenting systems and process/workflow improvements for Ad Tech and Ad Operations.
Ensure efficient campaign trafficking, set-up, and delivery across various digital advertising platforms.
  • Collaborate with Strategists, Enrollment Marketing Consultants, and Director of Media in the development of digital marketing strategies, plans, and reports for VisionPoint's clients.
  • Partner closely with Client Success Managers to ensure work is delivered accurately, strategically, and on time, proactively communicating priorities, risks, and recommendations to support an exceptional client experience.
  • Execute marketing across all digital marketing channels including (but not limited to) SEM, paid social, and programmatic.
  • Consult with our Analysts to plan, implement tracking, and manage marketing metrics within web analytics interfaces to produce reports and consult with clients.
  • Provide strategic guidance and subject matter expertise in developing effective, accurate media plans and supporting campaign documentation.
  • Act as a point of contact for our media vendors and partners.
  • Attend all media-related client presentations for your team's assigned clients, acting as the senior level subject matter expert on the account.
  • Utilize a full suite of platform reporting tools and Google Analytics to interpret and act on performance, with support from VisionPoint's Analytics team.
EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION
The ideal candidate would possess the following skills, interest and experience:
  • 5+ years of experience in an integrated campaign management role.
  • 2+ years of people management experience, including direct supervision, coaching, and development of at least one direct report.
  • Experience managing higher education marketing campaigns and/or B2C marketing initiatives with long consideration cycles, with an understanding of how to nurture prospective audiences through complex decision-making journeys.
  • Process-oriented with strong attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Strong understanding of Google Analytics and digital marketing metrics, with the ability to analyze and interpret data to inform strategic decisions.
  • Must have (or get within 90 days) Google Ads and Google Analytics certifications.
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills and comfortability representing the agency to external stakeholders for presentations and problem-solving.
  • Ability to motivate and manage others to achieve measurable goals.
  • Thirst for knowledge and passion to learn and grow in your area of expertise.
  • Sense of ownership and accountability to the goals, the client and the team.
  • Willingness to actively contribute to VisionPoint's culture and embody our values.

VisionPoint Marketing is committed to building a diverse and inclusive work environment and believes that skills are cultivated through a range of experiences. Even if your past work doesn't meet all of the preferred qualifications, we still encourage you to apply if you are enthusiastic about this opportunity
WHAT WE ARE LIKE HERE AT VISIONPOINT
At VisionPoint, we believe that a strong culture is as much a valued benefit as health insurance, PTO and 401k. That's why it's important to us that future team members connect with - and contribute to - our culture. Our communication, our collaboration, our satisfaction and our growth are largely dependent upon whether we all, as individuals, embrace and live out our values. We believe in the work we do, we support each other, we work hard and we like to have a bit of fun too. When it comes right down to it, happy and fulfilled team members produce better work, and better work is what drives us every day.
