The Territory Manager is responsible for developing and implementing a business/sales plan for maximizing net sales and will conduct business/sales with key targeted healthcare providers.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver sales performance, brand KPIs, financial targets, marketing objectives, etc. to meet or exceed those objectives.
  • Create pre-call plan objectives and execute post-call evaluation to continuously improve sales performance. Effectively handle objections, misunderstandings, concerns and consistently gain logical and reasonable calls to action to close on every sales call.
  • Proactively and continuously aspire to serve customer needs, customer expectations and challenges to build trusted customer relationships and to achieve win-win agreements between Client and customers.
  • Develop and execute a call plan that achieves set call metrics and optimizes coverage and frequency to key customers to maximize access and sales opportunities.
  • Continuously build understanding on customer needs and expectations, territory market landscape, competitors, market segments/dynamics, accounts, disease, product, clinical and sales expertise and share this market intelligence information with in-field team, brand team and sales manager to achieve alignment, to anticipate environmental changes and challenges and to optimize brand strategy and its execution.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • 2-3 years successful business-to-business sales, pharmaceutical sales, or similar related combination of education and experience preferred
  • Psychiatry sales experience a plus
  • Resides in or within proximity to assigned geography required
  • Must have a valid driver's license with a good driving history to drive a company vehicle
  • Driving in a geographically large territory for long periods of time each day
  • Travel 50-75% overnight travel may be required for this role
  • Lifting sample boxes (up to 25 pounds) is required for this role. If you are unable to lift 25 pounds, reasonable accommodations can be provided

The range of starting base pay for this role is 90K-110K.  Actual starting pay will be based on a wide range of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, qualifications, education and location. In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for participation in either (i) our annual bonus program or (ii) a sales incentive plan.
