Inner Magic Counseling, LLC is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our remote outpatient practice. In this full-time position, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality therapeutic services to a diverse client base, contributing to their journey toward mental wellness. Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct outpatient therapy, including individual and group therapy, to clients with a focus on mood disorders.
  • Complete timely and accurate documentation in accordance with agency policies and licensing regulations.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary treatment teams to develop and implement effective treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs.
  • Communicate regularly with clients, treatment teams, and external providers to ensure coordinated care and facilitate patient recovery.
  • Engage in continuous learning, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
  • Provide consultation and support during team meetings to enhance treatment strategies and patient outcomes.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will focus primarily on diverse clients experiencing mood disorders, including anxiety and depression. You will be responsible for establishing rapport and trust, enabling clients to share their experiences openly. Your skills will assist in creating individualized treatment goals that respect each client’s unique background and circumstances, fostering a safe environment for personal growth and recovery.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • A current and valid license as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.
  • Expertise in evidence-based treatment modalities for mood disorders, particularly CBT and DBT.
  • Strong understanding of psychopharmacology to effectively collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals.
  • Proven ability to achieve successful outcomes in treating clients with mood disorders, demonstrating adaptability and client-focused care.
Preferred Experience
  • Prior experience working in outpatient mental health settings.
