• Provide direct individual therapy sessions, conducting assessments, treatment planning, and therapeutic interventions for identified patients.
• Facilitate group therapy sessions to foster community, share insights, and encourage peer support among clients facing similar challenges.
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation of clinical notes and treatment plans compliant with agency standards and licensing regulations.
• Participate actively in treatment team meetings, providing consultation, contributing specialist insights, and collaborating on patient treatment plans for optimal outcomes.
• Engage in programming, personal development, and training initiatives that enhance professional competency and strengthen team effectiveness.

As a Mental Health Counselor at Inner Magic Counseling, you will work primarily with adults experiencing mood disorders, anxiety, trauma-related issues, and other mental health challenges. Your interactions will support a diverse clientele, each with unique backgrounds and experiences, allowing you to employ culturally responsive practices that meet the needs of all client groups.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in California.
• Proficiency in evidence-based treatment modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
• Strong understanding of the principles of psychopharmacology, with the ability to work cohesively with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals.

• A demonstrated history of successful outcomes in treating clients with mood disorders.
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients from a variety of backgrounds.
• Experience working in a digital environment and utilizing telehealth technologies for client engagement.

Inner Magic Counseling offers a competitive salary range of $115,000 to $130,000 annually, along with opportunities for performance-based bonuses.
