Job description

    LUXURY SALES MANAGER

    The Luxury Leisure Sales Manager reports to the Director of Sales and is responsible for driving high-value leisure demand to Bermuda through strategic engagement with the luxury travel advisor community, consortia partners, and select trade channels across North America. This role strengthens Bermuda's position within the premium travel market by developing targeted account strategies, building advisor advocacy, and generating qualified luxury leisure business aligned with visitor spend, seasonality, and market diversification goals.

    The role will focus on luxury travel advisors and key consortia, including Internova, Virtuoso, and other premium travel networks, while supporting initiatives that influence luxury bookings and increase Bermuda's share of high-value travel demand.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop and manage strategic relationships with luxury travel advisors, consortia partners, host agencies, and trade channels.
    • Create and execute account plans designed to increase qualified luxury leisure demand to Bermuda.
    • Promote Bermuda's premium positioning through targeted sales outreach, destination education, and product storytelling.
    • Identify and pursue opportunities across high-value leisure segments including luxury, wellness, golf, and multi-generational travel.
    • Support lead development and connect advisors with Bermuda hotel partners, experiences, and destination resources.
    • Plan and execute FAM trips, trade events, presentations, webinars, and educational initiatives.
    • Collaborate with internal marketing teams and external partners on cooperative campaigns and trade activations.
    • Build relationships with hotels, airlines, and tourism stakeholders to strengthen destination promotion and sales conversion.
    • Maintain CRM records, account reporting, and performance tracking.
    • Monitor KPIs and provide market insights and recommendations to strengthen commercial performance.

    Qualifications & Experience

    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality, Tourism, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
    • Professional certifications in Sales, Hospitality, Tourism, Marketing, Business Development, or related disciplines would be considered an asset.
    • Minimum of five (5) to seven (7) years' experience in luxury hospitality, leisure sales, consortia sales, travel advisor relations, destination sales, or a related field.
    • Demonstrated experience working with luxury travel advisors, consortia partners, host agencies, and premium destination or hotel products across the US and Canada.
    • Experience developing account strategies, sales initiatives, trade activations, and cooperative marketing programmes.
    • Experience managing CRM systems, pipeline tracking, reporting, and performance measurement.
    • Strong relationship-building, communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
    • Knowledge of luxury leisure travel, advisor distribution models, destination marketing, and Bermuda's luxury tourism offering would be considered an asset.
    • Ability and willingness to travel regularly across source markets and to Bermuda.


    Work Environment
    This position operates in a remote or hybrid sales environment with regular travel to target markets, trade events, and Bermuda as required. Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends is required.
