What is a remote line cook?

A remote line cook is a culinary professional who prepares and cooks food, typically for virtual or delivery-only kitchens, rather than in a traditional restaurant setting. This role has grown in popularity with the rise of ghost kitchens and food delivery services. The main responsibilities remain similar to those of a traditional line cook but are adapted for remote or off-site operations.
