Job description

Work Locations: With the exception of some select roles that have in-office requirements, A+E Global Media operates on a flexible model that allows for remote, hybrid or full time in office work (in certain locales). Office locations include New York City, Los Angeles, Chicago, and Stamford, CT. Our list of eligible states in which employees may work remotely includes: California, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Oregon, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, West Virginia, Wisconsin, and Wyoming. Job Description Role: Specialist, Platform Art Production The Specialist, Platform Art Production supports the Platform Art Studio in the versioning, finishing, and delivery of a high-volume of artwork across A+E's multiplatform business. Working closely with the Senior Art Director, this role helps translate platform needs, partner specs, and creative direction into polished, accurate, delivery-ready assets. This is a hands‐on production role for someone who is highly skilled in digital-first mechanical art, understands how assets need to function across platforms, and brings a practical eye toward improving workflows, reducing friction, and making high-volume creative production smoother. This role is ideal for a thoughtful, digitally‐fluent production artist who can execute accurately at volume while also thinking critically about how the work gets done. You'll work closely with the Senior Art Director, helping bring platform art requests across the finish line, maintaining quality and consistency, and identifying opportunities to make workflows clearer, faster, and more scalable. You should be comfortable in the mechanical details of production: specs, templates, resizing, retouching, file prep, delivery requirements, and quality control. You should also be the kind of person who notices friction, asks smart questions, and helps create better ways of working. Responsibilities Support the Platform Art Studio in the execution, versioning, finishing, and delivery of static artwork for A+E's multiplatform business. Produce and adapt artwork for a wide range of platform needs, including MVPD, FAST, AVOD, DTC, SVOD, DTO, O&O, VOD and other partner destinations. Prepare accurate, platform‐ready files based on partner specs, templates, delivery requirements, and internal standards. Execute a high volume of mechanical art, resizing, reformatting, cleaning up, as well as light color correction, image manipulation, and finishing work. Support quality control across asset packages, ensuring files are accurate, polished, properly named, and ready for delivery. Receive, interpret, and execute feedback clearly and efficiently. Help maintain consistency across platform art, while understanding when each platform or partner requires a different executional approach. Collaborate with internal partners, project managers, designers, and art directors to clarify requests and keep work moving. Identify workflow pain points and suggest practical ways to reduce friction, improve handoffs, and support high-volume asset fulfillment. Help document best practices, repeatable processes, templates, and production standards for the Platform Art Studio. Bring a solutions‐oriented mindset to the team, with an eye toward efficiency, clarity, scalability, and continuous improvement. Basic Requirements Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, especially Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, as well as in Figma. Strong understanding of digital production, file formats, specs, templates, exports, naming conventions, and delivery requirements. 3‐5+ years of experience in digital production, mechanical art, production design, platform art, entertainment marketing, or a related creative production role. Experience producing and versioning static artwork for digital platforms, streaming services, social, paid media, or related environments. Strong mechanical production skills, including resizing, compositing, image manipulation, and finishing. Good eye for composition, color, layout, and image quality. Ability to work accurately and efficiently across a high volume of deliverables. Comfortable working within established creative direction, templates, specs, and brand standards. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to identify process issues and suggest practical improvements. Clear and collaborative communication skills, especially when clarifying requests, surfacing issues, or explaining production needs. Familiarity with Airtable, DAM systems, content management systems, or asset delivery workflows is a plus. Basic knowledge of print production, pre‐press, or 4‐color process is a plus. You are detail‐oriented and take pride in clean, accurate, well‐built files. You can manage multiple assignments at once and pivot as priorities shift. You are comfortable executing against feedback and asking clear questions when direction or specs are incomplete. You understand that great production work is creative and operational. You enjoy making work easier for the people around you by improving templates, processes, handoffs, or documentation. You are a strong collaborator who can support senior leads without needing to own the creative direction. You bring a positive, practical, solutions‐first approach to high-volume work. Compensation Annual Pay Range: $76,366 - $87,820. Annual Incentive Target: 7.50%. A+E offers a competitive total compensation package, which includes healthcare coverage, 401(k) matching, and a range of other benefits. Equal Employment Opportunity A+E Global Media proudly provides equal employment opportunity for all employees and job applicants, and makes employment decisions consistent with this principle.
