Job description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Lead AI Generative Designer based in Netherlands.

Join a forward-thinking remote team shaping the future of AI-generated visual content at scale. In this leadership role, you will drive the strategy, quality, and technical evolution of generative AI image production while building efficient, automated creative workflows. You'll combine artistic vision with technical expertise to deliver highly realistic AI-generated visuals that support business growth and innovation. Working in a fast-paced, globally distributed environment, you'll evaluate emerging AI technologies, establish production best practices, and lead the transition from experimental generation to scalable creative systems. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced AI creative professional to influence both technology adoption and visual excellence.

Accountabilities:

As the Lead AI Generative Designer, you will oversee the development of scalable AI-powered creative pipelines while ensuring exceptional quality and consistency across visual content production. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve workflows, evaluate emerging technologies, and establish best practices that maximize efficiency and creative impact.

  • Lead the creation and continuous improvement of high-quality AI-generated visual content with a focus on realism, consistency, and business performance.
  • Design, build, and optimize scalable generative AI workflows using modern image generation platforms and automation tools.
  • Automate large-scale content production through batch processing, APIs, scripting, and workflow orchestration.
  • Define technical standards and best practices for AI image generation across multiple content streams.
  • Evaluate new AI models, tools, and techniques, validating their effectiveness before integrating them into production.
  • Drive process improvements that increase quality, scalability, speed, and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with creative and technical stakeholders to align AI-generated assets with business objectives.
  • Mentor team members by promoting efficient workflows, technical excellence, and continuous innovation.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate combines advanced generative AI expertise with a strong creative eye and technical problem-solving skills. You are comfortable leading complex AI initiatives, building scalable systems, and staying ahead of rapidly evolving AI technologies.

  • Extensive hands-on experience producing AI-generated visual content, particularly realistic human imagery, avatars, AI personas, or high-volume creative assets.
  • Strong expertise with generative AI ecosystems such as ComfyUI, Flux, Nano Banana Pro, ChatGPT, WaveSpeed, or similar technologies.
  • Experience building automated workflows using APIs, n8n, batch generation tools, scripting, or comparable automation solutions.
  • Excellent understanding of image realism, composition, anatomy, lighting, visual consistency, and artifact reduction.
  • Ability to design scalable production systems rather than one-off creative solutions.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience establishing technical direction and improving creative processes.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and decision-making abilities in remote environments.
  • Self-motivated mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-changing AI landscape and quickly evaluate emerging technologies.
Benefits:
  • Fully remote full-time position with worldwide flexibility.
  • Competitive compensation, with salary details shared during the hiring process.
  • 28 calendar days of annual vacation.
  • 7 additional wellness days each year.
  • Employee referral bonuses of up to $5,000.
  • 50% reimbursement for professional training, conferences, and industry events.
  • Corporate discount on English language lessons.
  • Healthcare support, including annual reimbursement for eligible medical expenses where applicable.
  • Home office or coworking setup support, including equipment and workplace reimbursement.
  • Internal recognition and rewards program with redeemable employee bonuses.
  • Opportunity to work with an international, highly collaborative remote team focused on cutting-edge AI innovation.
