In your role as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mental health statuses and emotional well-being, utilizing standardized assessment tools.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that align with each client's unique goals, incorporating evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
• Facilitate engaging therapeutic sessions across various modalities, including individual therapy, family therapy, and group therapy settings, while adapting techniques to different client needs.
• Monitor and evaluate clients' progress regularly, modifying treatment plans as needed to ensure therapeutic goals are met.
• Provide immediate support through crisis intervention techniques to clients experiencing acute distress.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential client records, adhering to both legal and ethical standards in mental health practice.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals—such as psychiatrists and social workers—to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
• Engage in continuous professional development, staying current with the latest advancements in mental health research and treatment methodologies.
• Participate in scheduled supervision and training sessions to enhance clinical expertise and professional growth.
• Follow ethical guidelines established by relevant licensing boards, demonstrating integrity and professionalism in all interactions.

You will primarily work with a diverse range of clients, including individuals coping with anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Our clientele varies in age and background, providing a rich tapestry of experiences and needs that will inform your therapeutic approaches.

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
• Current licensure as a Mental Health Therapist (such as LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW) in the state of California.
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills, demonstrating the ability to identify and understand a range of mental health disorders.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to fostering empathetic relationships with clients.
• A professional demeanor characterized by compassion, dedication, and a client-centered philosophy.
• The capacity to work autonomously, as well as collaboratively as part of a remote team.
• A thorough understanding of ethical guidelines and legal standards governing mental health practice.

A minimum of three years of clinical experience in a mental health setting is required, ideally with direct experience in delivering telehealth services. A background in evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) is preferred.
