Responsibilities
Job Summary:
We are seeking a driven Lead Sales Trainer to lead learning strategy and field readiness initiatives across the United States. This role is responsible for developing and executing education strategies that support major product launches, portfolio expansions, and commercial growth initiatives across the cardiovascular portfolio. The Lead Sales Trainer serves as a subject matter expert in sales readiness, product commercialization, and field capability development, designing scalable learning programs that accelerate adoption of new technologies and improve commercial performance.
Working closely with Sales, Marketing, Clinical, and Professional Education leaders, this role develops innovative learning solutions, coaching frameworks, and readiness strategies that ensure sales teams can effectively communicate product value, navigate complex customer environments, and achieve business objectives.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute the U.S. learning strategy for major product launches, portfolio expansions, and commercial growth initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives, customer needs, and market dynamics.
  • Design and deliver engaging, high-quality training materials, including presentations, manuals, e-learning modules, and role-playing scenarios tailored to advanced sales methodologies and application within the cardiovascular medical device market.
  • Continuously enhance training frameworks to address evolving market dynamics, sales strategies, product innovations, and organizational priorities.
  • Equip the salesforce with tools, techniques, and resources to improve efficiency and effectiveness, including mastery of CRM systems, data analysis, strategic account development, and territory planning.
  • Develop and lead educational sessions on advanced sales strategies, including value-based selling, account-based engagement, and multi-stakeholder sales approaches that maximize sales effectiveness within the U.S. healthcare market.
  • Build and implement coaching programs that prepare sales leaders to effectively develop teammates, emphasizing strategic thinking, leadership capability, and performance improvement.
  • Serve as a strategic education partner to commercial leadership, identifying capability gaps and recommending learning solutions that improve field effectiveness and sales readiness.
  • Establish scalable training frameworks, tools, and best practices that can be leveraged across product portfolios and sales teams to support long-term organizational capability development.
  • Partner closely with product development, marketing, clinical, sales enablement, and other cross-functional teams to ensure educational programs align with technical product knowledge, commercialization strategies, and business priorities.
  • Establish and monitor learning effectiveness metrics, sales readiness indicators, and business performance measures to evaluate impact and continuously improve educational strategy.
  • Develop and manage ongoing learning opportunities such as microlearning modules, certifications, coaching resources, and peer learning programs to foster continuous skill development and professional growth.

Qualifications
  • 8+ years of experience in learning and development, sales training, sales enablement, healthcare provider (HCP) education, commercial training, or sales roles, with demonstrated experience leading strategic education initiatives that impact business performance.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, education, clinical discipline, or related field preferred. Combined education and experience will be considered.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally, estimated 40% travel.
