  • Journeyman or Master Electrician license preferred.

  • Experience with low-voltage residential and/or electronics installation and troubleshooting preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of electrical installations, grounding, conductor ampacity, motor circuits, overcurrent protection, voltage drop, and related calculations.

  • Experience with motor controls, PLCs, motor drives, LV/MV motors, relays, field devices, and electrical control systems.

  • Ability to read and interpret electrical prints, one-line diagrams, mechanical prints, symbols, and technical documentation.

  • Knowledge of electrical shock and arc-flash hazards, safety regulations, safe work practices, and PPE.

  • Experience with low-voltage circuit breakers, including maintenance, troubleshooting, testing, and repair.

  • Comfortable using basic electrical tools and equipment.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Adobe applications.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and customer service skills.

Why Join the Team

You should be comfortable speaking to groups, demonstrating hands-on electrical concepts, adapting training to different audiences, and explaining complex technical topics in a clear and practical way.

A successful instructor is professional, safety-minded, customer-focused, and able to work independently while maintaining a high standard of training quality.
